Drinks are probably worth €3, so €2 for the clock tower seems fairly reasonable. Decent sized beer and wine were given with our tokens. The courtyard where the bar is situated is nice, with shaded seating areas to have your drink. It’s fairly cramped on the stairs and at the top, difficult to pass one another. In previous times, the clock informed Greeks of the Turkish time. The Clock Tower is the highest landmark in Rhode's Old Town.

The newer clock tower features baroque elements, and the clock is perfectly operational. It’s all internal, but the windows at the top are opened. T he Roloi Clock Tower was originally built in the seventh century. You get a slightly better view over old town. At the top, it’s isn’t that spectacular really. Not a particularly difficult climb and it’s not too high, but there’s no railing and you can see through the slats below, so may cause issues for someone with a particular fear of heights. Internally, you can climb it to the top, using a wooden staircase. The clock tower itself looks pretty cool from the outside (you can see this for free on nearby streets). With your entry fee, you get a “free” drink at the bar. Entrance fee is €5 and paid at small till area, at bottom of stairs leading to courtyard area.
